A Timeline Of TI Thirst

A Timeline Of TI Thirst

T.I has been begging for 50Cent's attention for so long that we have all asked to unsubscribe to the group chat.

Unpopular opinion, 50Cent doesn't have to rap because other rappers are trying to force his hand.  50Cent has not been active in hip-hop for over a decade so to drop "diss records" at him when he is clearly not going to respond to make it appear that he is afraid is underwhelming to say the least.

Let's look at a timeline of how thirsty TI has been over the past few years and you let me know if you think that 50Cent should be taking time out of his busy day to argue with Clifford.

The Beginning

Back in 2007 50Cent ruled over the New York hip-hop scene with an iron fist.  He was in the process of dropping his 3rd solo album "Curtis" in a highly publicized sales war with Kanye West and his "Graduation" album.  In that same era TI was enjoying commercial success in the south after dropping his fourth album King.  By this time, he had proclaimed himself the King of The South.

During several interviews during this time 50Cent went on record saying that southern rappers were not on his level lyrically or business wise.  T.I Responded in interviews saying that 50Cent couldn't speak that way in the actual south.  No songs were recorded and there were no reports of any physical altercations between crews.

 Social Media Era

October 13th, 2007, Clifford TI Harris was arrested by the ATF just hours before the BET awards for attempting to purchase three machine guns and two silencers through a bodyguard who was already working with the authorities after being arrested prior.

Due to a prior conviction from 1998 TI could not legally purchase or carry a firearm at all.  The world then began to call him a snitch because his plea agreement was very gentle.  1 year and 1 day in federal prison with 1-year supervised release and 1500 hours of community service.  He was later released in 2010.

In 2012 50Cent began to question T. I's street credibility, TI began going on a tirade anytime the concept of him working with the police was mentioned or came up.  TI later responded with a dis song called "Wit Me" where he tossed a direct shot at 50cent and his street credibility.

50Cent responded with jokes mocking TI's freedom

The Battle That Never Happened

During the pandemic in the mid 2020's TI publicly challenged 50 to a Verzuz battle where 50 initially ignored him.  Later in interviews 50 stated that he would only do a verzuz against "Eminem" or "Jay-Z"

the comment was widely viewed as an insult to T.I where he would respond by stating that 50 didn't want any smoke with him.

Here we are in present day, and they still have not had a physical altercation or a real issue with one another.  50Cent continued to make hit television series after television series and then obtained his own movie studio.

On the other end T.I was in the news for his public separation with Tiny when she was seen with Floyd Mayweather; or that interesting report that he checks his daughter's hymen to ensure she is still a virgin.

Neither of them so much as mentioned one another for several years however things shifted when TI became a failed comic that cut his poorly kept locs off and decided he would return back to rap.

he started mentioning that he wanted to do a verzus that he was already aware that he was not getting.  Dropped a song and paid the tik tok influencers to blow it up.  He engaged with 50 on social media and even let his albino fetus King get involved in business he does not belong.  All in what is clearly the Harris family poking the bear and barking up a tree that can fall on them.

People seem to like the diss song, cool but can we call a spade a spade? How long will we watch people use 50 Cent for clout? I am not trying to place agism on rappers that love to rap but I will say grown men need to be men and slinging insults via diss record aint it.
